Okra Masala

fried bhindi

  • 250 grams okra
  • One small onion sliced
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • Salt to taste

Slice okra length wise. Add sliced onions in hot oil and cook till its brown. Add okra and cook for some minutes and add all dry spices and mix well. Cook on low flame till okra is done. Don’t stir too much. Served hot.
