Apple Halwa

Apple halwa

  • 4 apples, skinned and grated
  • 2 tbspn ghee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 
Cardamom & nutmeg powder
 – ¼ tsp each
  • Saffron(optional)
  • Cashews, pistachios and raisins

Saute the grated apple in ghee for roughly 12-15 min on a medium to high flame (mushy consistency), add the sugar & chopped dry fruits. Saute on high until the sugar dissolves. Lastly, add raisins for last. Cool, then add cardamom and nutmeg powder. Serve chilled
