Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tsp
Dry ginger powder 3/4 tsp
Fennel seeds 2 tsp powdered
Black cardamom 2
Green cardamom 3
Cloves 3
Cinnamon stick 1 small
Pepper corns 3
Make a powder of the whole spices above

Mutton 500 gms
Mustard oil 2 tbsp
Curd 1/2 cup
Asafoetida 1/4 tsp, I used a pinch or two more.
Salt to taste

Heat oil, add asafoetida, add mutton, cook for 5 minutes, keep adding the curd in spoonfuls and keep cooking the meat till it’s nice and brown. If it sticks, add splashes of water. Add the kashmiri chilli, ginger powder, fennel, salt, and cook for 5 minutes. Add a little water. Cook till tender. Add some garam masala and keep covered till you serve. Gravy should be thin.
