- Butter – 1 cup
- Icing sugar – 3/4th cup
- Flour – 2 cups
- Vanilla essence – 1.5 tsp
- Cornflour – 1 tbsp
- Yellow food color – 1/2 tsp
Whisk room temperature butter till smooth, then add icing sugar, food colour and whisk again.
Next add vanilla essence, cornflour and flour. Mix in to form a dough.
Chill it in the fridge for 10 minutes. Roll it out and cut the shapes using a cookie cutter
You could use another smaller cookie cutter on already cut raw cookie to make a light circular dent on the surface. Poke some smaller holes using a tooth pick.
Bake them for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 165 deg C .
