- Flour (maida) – 1.5 cups
- Cornflour – 1/2 cup
- Custard powder – 6 tbsp
- Icing sugar – 1/2 cup
- Butter – 1 cup
- Vanilla extract – 1tsp
- Hard candies – 10
Whisk the room temperature butter and icing sugar till its fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract as well and whisk again.
Sieve the cornflour, custard powder and flour together into the butter mixture.
Roll it and using a cookie cutter, cut them into desired shapes, with holes in their centres.
Chill the trays with raw cookies in the fridge for an hour (this makes them easier to roll and cut). Crush the candies and fill the cookie holes upto 2/3 rd the space with crushed candies. Bake them at 170deg Cin a preheated oven for 11-14 minutes or till the sides are golden brown.
