Bringing back its popular promo that was started last year during Ramzan, this year too diners can get to try 11 different types of haleem in both vegetarian and non-vegetarians variations.
My favourites among the non-vegetarian were the turkey, chicken and mutton haleem. The duck was a bit bland compared to the fiery others. And I haven’t yet developed a liking for mashed prawns so didn’t care much for that. But then, that’s just my personal preferences. If you liked pounded seafood then go for it.
Among the vegetarian variants the Persian vegetable haleem is a must try. It’s an Indianised, spicier version of Baba Ganoush with chickpeas and eggplant and totally yum!
There’s a live counter set up at the entrance so the haleem is piping hot with just the right amount of ghee, topped with crispy fried onions, roasted cashewnuts and a dash of lime. The promo is on through Ramzan so now you know where to head to for your annual haleem fix.
