Stuffed Okra

Wash and dry the okra. Snip off ends and make a slit in the middle almost the entire length. Stuff with masala mix. Saute in a non-stick pan on medium heat, gently turning them once or twice till done, but still retain a bit of crunch.

Masala mix
1 tsp fennel powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
A pinch asafoetida (optional)
Red chili powder and salt to taste
