Olive Bistro Turns One


Olive Bistro celebrates is first successful year in Hyderabad with a fabulous new menu put together by Chef de Cuisine Sujan S and Executive Sous Chef Vikram Chanana.

The novel menu has a lot more fresh produce. There’s seasonal fruits and vegetables, a lot of feta and greens, and interesting in-house sauces, dips and preserves, which Chef Chanana endearingly refers to as homemade. An apt description indeed, considering most items on the menu are feel-good wholesome comfort foods.

The soft scrambled eggs in a crispy and melt-in-the-mouth puff pastry shell topped with a wild mushroom ragout is sure to get you all eggcited. My favourite salad from the new line up was the smoked chicken and quinoa salad flecked with pomegranate, iceberg lettuce and buttermilk dressing.

Olive Bistro’s filo wrapped brie cheese, Saffron Arancini and lamp meat balls are made with a singular purpose – of whetting your appetites for the main course and how! Once you’re done with either or all of those, indulge in the pan cooked blackened salmon or a black forest ham and charred pineapple wood oven pizza. But do save some space for their absolutely decadent desserts because you definitely won’t be able to resist their multilayered black forest cake.

The best part of Olive Bistro’s turning one is a week-long party till July 29 where patrons get 50% discount on the menu. Go ahead and enjoy the great food and ambience of this awesome venue, overlooking a secret lake.
